Glendalough

Glendalough is one of the most picturesque destinations Ireland has to offer. Nestled between two lakes, the glacial valley is best known for the iconic monastery built there by St Kevin in the 6th century. Try the Spinx Walk, a 10km trail, which takes in the stunning scenery and gives you the perfect viewpoints for photographs of the two lakes.

National Botanic Gardens, Kilmacurragh

The gardens originally formed part of an 18th-century estate. Today, the National Botanic Gardens in Kilmacurragh is an outpost of the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin. The stunning gardens feature flora from around the world, it's well worth a visit. Wicklow Mountains

Chances are if you're visiting Wicklow you’ll either drive through the Wicklow Mountains or spot them from afar. To really experience them, try something different like day cycling, fishing or rock climbing in the area. The National Waymarked Trails offer a fantastic hike through the mountains that will guarantee you see all the best views.
