Day 1
1pm - Arrive & Enjoy Lunch
Enter the gates of Powerscourt Estate and drive up the Beech tree lined avenue until you reach the hotel’s complimentary car park. After a warm welcome from our Concierge, enjoy a family lunch in the Sugar Loaf Lounge and soak up the views.
4pm - Check-in
Settle into one of our luxury family bedrooms, with plenty of space for everyone, free wi-fi to keep everyone entertained, ESPA amenities and marble bathrooms with TV. Discover our mountain view rooms and suites,family rooms and suites, also with the option of interconnecting rooms.
4:30pm - Start Exploring
Make memories at Powerscourt Hotel with a falconry display in the hotel grounds. Challenge yourself or your little ones to a game of giant chess or take in the breath-taking view of the Sugar Loaf Mountain while the youngsters play in the hotel’s playground.
6pm - Dinner Time
After a busy day, enjoy a delicious dinner in Sika Restaurant with tasty options for grownups, but also a great children’s menu.And while the kids settle in the room with a movie, why not unwind in the 20 metre Swarovski crystal lit swimming pool? Children’s swim times are also available.
Day 2
9am – Delicious Breakfast
After a heavenly night’s sleep in your luxurious bed, and a refreshing rainforest shower, head to Sika Restaurant for a nourishing morning treat. A hearty breakfast overlooking the Wicklow landscape will set your family up for the day ahead.
10am – Discover the Estate
Take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary bicycles and cycle along the River Walk in Powerscourt Estate. Why not ask our team to prepare a picnic to be enjoyed in the great outdoors.
Powerscourt House & Gardens is only a 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel, as well as Powerscourt Distillery, where you can sample the locally produced Fercullen blend. Visit the tallest waterfall in Ireland, Powerscourt Waterfall, and enjoy the scenery!
3pm – Relax and Unwind
If you are longing for a pampering moment, book a rejuvenating treatment at the award winning ESPA Spa. From facials to body massages, our experts will help you achieve a moment of true bliss. 6pm – Room Service

9pm – Night Cap
Take the elevator to the third floor and visit McGills Pub, a traditional and welcoming space, perfect for a night cap. Whether you are going back to enjoy some more Fercullen whiskey, a pint of your favourite beer, a glass of your go to wine, or a classic cocktail, McGills is the perfect place to finish your evening.
10am – Good Morning
Feel brand new after another satisfying breakfast and enjoy the morning at Powerscourt Estate – visit the golf course at Powerscourt Golf Club, take a walk down to Enniskerry Village, or enjoy some retail therapy at Avoca, in Powerscourt House. With some luck, you may see our friendly neighbours too, the Sika deer.
12.30pm – Afternoon Tea
After your check-out, stay a while longer and experience our incomparable Afternoon Tea at the sugar Loaf Lounge. This three layered stand is the delight of children and adults alike, featuring savoury sandwiches, tasty scones and divine desserts, all prepared by our talented chef and pastry teams.
